When?

In the springtime, of course! Typically held on a Saturday or Sunday near the Easter weekend. Exact dates are posted on our event calendar.

Youth Group Trips

Our youth group makes trips to area youth rallies, including the short trip up to Valdosta, Georgia for their annual YES Weekend, and to Orlando for SonQuest. Both are energetic, fun and enlightening rallies designed to prepare middle-school through college-aged young people to make sound decisions in their lives.

When?

YES Weekend is typically held on the last weekend in February. SonQuest is held on Labor Day weekend. Exact schedules are posted on our event calendar as they are announced.

Mount Dora Children’s Home Annual Christmas Party

We’ve hosted a Christmas Party for the children and adults served by this home, every year since 1986. And we love hosting this party! For many of us, THIS is the true start of a busy Christmas season that will include parties, Christmas caroling, and (more recently) even participation in the local Christmas parade.

When?

On a Saturday in early December, as coordinated with the Mount Dora personnel. Once scheduled, the exact date is posted on our event calendar.
