We've saved you a seat... join us this Sunday for

Worship

It’s hard to get to know a church just by looking at its website… but here’s some information to help you know what to expect on your first visit.

When and Where?

Worship with us at 18567 NW Hwy 441 in High Springs.

Bible classes for all ages at 9:30 am on Sunday, followed by worship at 10:30 am.

We also have a mid-week gathering at 7 pm Wednesday night.

What Should I Wear?

Clothing.

There is no formal dress code. Modesty is appreciated – and this probably isn’t the place to wear your PJ’s – but dress in a manner that’s comfortable for you. On any given Sunday, you’ll see people in dresses… suits and ties… western wear… khakis and knit shirts… comfortable jeans and unoffending t-shirts.

And several people wearing Florida 🐊 Gators attire. (But to be perfectly clear, you’re welcomed to worship with us regardless of school affiliation!)

What Happens During Worship?

We pray. We have communion for baptized believers. And we get to hear a great lesson from Tim, our minister.

We also sing lots of songs of praise to God, and to our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Our songs are displayed on a big screen, and you’re welcomed and encouraged to join your voice with ours, if you like. Otherwise, just sit, relax, listen, and take it all in.

Do you perform any strange rituals?

You don’t need to be concerned about looking out-of-place here as the only person in the church not performing strange religious rituals. That’s because we have no strange religious rituals.

Instead, expect a simple, unplugged style of worship – in spirit and in truth.

What Do You Believe?

Simply stated, we believe in the Bible. The Old Testament provides a historical background, while the New Testament guides us along the new road to salvation: the grace of God through Jesus Christ.

We are a congregation of the original churches of Christ founded in the first century A.D. We strive to worship God and live our lives as the earliest followers of Christ were instructed to live and worship by the Apostles… following God’s simple message with no added layers of earthly complications and hierarchy.
